Why is my Vauxhall Insignia making a strange sound when turning?

I have recently noticed that my Vauxhall Insignia makes a strange grinding sound when I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be coming from the front end of the car. What could be causing this issue?

It is possible that the CV joints or wheel bearings are worn out and need to be replaced. You should have a mechanic inspect your car as soon as possible to prevent further damage.

Check your power steering fluid levels and make sure they are topped up. Low fluid levels can cause strange noises when turning. If the fluid is low, you may have a leak that needs to be fixed.

Another possible cause could be that your brake pads are worn out and need to be replaced. When brake pads wear out, they can make a grinding noise when turning due to metal on metal contact.
