Why is my Vauxhall Vivaro engine shaking?

I own a Vauxhall Vivaro and recently noticed that my engine is shaking when I start the car. It goes away after a few minutes but I'm worried that it might be a sign of a bigger issue. Can you please advise me on what could be causing this and if it's something I should be concerned about?

Hi Sam, thank you for reaching out. It sounds like a common problem with Vauxhall Vivaro models. The shaking is most likely caused by faulty engine mounts. Over time, these mounts can wear out and cause the engine to shake during startup. It's important to get this checked by a mechanic as soon as possible, as it can lead to further damage if left untreated.

Hello Sam, I had the same issue with my Vauxhall Vivaro and it turned out to be a problem with the ignition coils. These coils play a crucial role in starting the engine and if they are faulty, it can cause shaking during startup. I would recommend getting them checked and replaced if necessary.

Hi Sam, I have a Vauxhall Vivaro myself and experienced the same issue. In my case, it was a misfiring engine which was caused by dirty fuel injectors. I would suggest getting your injectors cleaned and see if that resolves the shaking issue. If not, it could be a sign of a more serious problem and you should get it checked by a professional.
