Why is the check engine light on in my Vauxhall Corsa?

My Vauxhall Corsa has been running fine, but recently the check engine light came on. I'm not sure what could be causing it and I'm worried it may be something serious. Can anyone help me figure out the issue?

The check engine light can be triggered by a number of different issues, ranging from minor to major. It's always best to get it checked out by a qualified mechanic as soon as possible. Ignoring it could lead to more serious problems down the road.

One common reason for the check engine light to come on is a loose or faulty gas cap. Make sure it's securely tightened, and if the light doesn't go away after a few drives, it may be best to take it in for a diagnostic.

I've had the same issue with my Vauxhall Corsa before and it turned out to be a problem with the oxygen sensor. It's best to get it replaced as soon as possible to avoid any potential damage to your engine.
